It's okay for what it costs. Some of the picks came slightly bent but almost nothing, nothing like what I had seen in other reviews, it's more than acceptable. I would say that they are durable yet somewhat flexible. You can't apply force against the scalp because without little balls at the tip, they dig in a bit, not much but enough to have to be careful with a little girl. Desenredar does it very well and hardly pulls at all. I believe that the fact that there are longer and shorter spikes helps. Overall, I'm happy although it's not my favorite brush. I think it's fine for the little one!
